Cosy resort, in the eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 110 km south-east from Valencia, 70 km north-east from Alicante. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment. Indoor aquatic centre. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. The coast is situated between Calpe and Moraira and is shaped by its cliffs, swimming bays and a sandy beach. The other closest sandy beaches are situated in Moraira and Calpe. Car is necessary. It is possible to take part in summer sports, entertainment and organised trips. Market on Saturdays. Flea market on Tuesdays. Its famous patron saint fiestas at the end of April and its "Moros y Cristianos" at the end of June. Golf course 9 km. Lovely countryside when the almond trees are in blossom, from the end of January to the beginning of March.
